I’m a Czech photojournalist and anthropologist. My long term documentary work focuses on medical storytelling. I document doctors, surgeons and medical teams as they provide care to patients who live in remote parts of the world with limited access to care. I follow patients through their process of recovery, physical and mental as they are navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives. I dedicate part of the year to travel photography. I have led student photo expeditions for National Geographic to Bhutan, Canadian Arctic, the Czech Republic and India, teaching photography and storytelling. Currently I am assisting a client to develop a visual brand for their travel company as I photograph their expeditions and client experience all around the world. asenbrennerova.com
