In honor of Women's History Month in March, The Luupe is hosting a call for photographic self-portraits by women.
More women than ever before are shaping narratives on our own terms.
For many, self-portraiture can celebrate our bodies, perspectives, and visibility.
Following the popularity of our 2020 feature, we've decided to host this call again. Show us your stories, your confidence, your vulnerability, your jokes, your joy, and your power to shape your own image.

Deadline: March 1, 2022
*This call is open to anyone who identifies as a woman and/or two-spirited individual.
Guidelines:
- Submit up to TWO photos and the following details via this form (please note: the form requires a Google/gmail account to sign in. If you do not have one, please reach out to jon@theluupe.com and we’ll be happy to help)
- Use the filename “FirstName_LastName_LUUPESELF_01”
- Specs: 1500 pixels on the long side, sRGB file, 72 dpi
- 1-3 sentence caption responding to the prompt "what drives you to photograph yourself?"
- Your website and Instagram handle
- No submission fee
Due to the volume of submissions, only selected photographers will be notified. We will announce the exhibition in our newsletter and on social media channels. The Luupe’s editors will review and curate the final images.
