The Luupe is hosting our second annual open call for women and non-binary photographers honoring the complexities of motherhood.
After the immense popularity of last year's feature, we're making "Visions of Motherhood" an annual Mother's Day photographic celebration.
Show us your struggles, joys, and memories. A portrait of your mom, a self-portrait, a still-life reflecting on a memory, an old family snapshot, an abstract gesture. We want to see what motherhood means to you and your community, looking back and looking forward.
Submission guidelines:
- Deadline: April 26th, 2022
- Submit a photo and the following details via this form (please note: the form requires a Google/gmail account to sign in. If you do not have one, please reach out to jon@theluupe.com and we’ll be happy to help)
- Label your photo “FirstName_LastName_Motherhood”
- Specs: 1500 pixels on the long side, sRGB file, 72 dpi
- 1-3 sentence caption for your photo
- Your website and Instagram handle
No submission fee
Due to the volume of submissions, only selected photographers will be notified.
We will announce the exhibition in our newsletter and on social media channels.
